Sunbrella fabric’s unique coloring process avoids harmful effluents associated with conventional dyeing processes. It also dramatically reduces water and energy consumption.
Sunbrealla finishing processes consume less water
Continual improvement in the Sunbrella finishing application process at the Wasquehal, France plant allows us to use the same water several times for successive operations, as well as to recycle mst of our wastewater. Heat from our waste water is also recuperated to warm our clean water.
Sunbrella fabrics are extremely durable
Sunbrella fabrics are engineered to last two to ten times longer than environmental impact of Sunbrella fabrics is considerably less than that of cotton canvas, for example.
